Why Everyone Should Hate the Boston Red Sox

Published on October 13, 2011 by   ·   2 Comments

The Boston Red Sox should be ashamed. I am talking about the ownership, the front office, management, coaches, players and fans. They should be ashamed of what they have become, and what they have become are hypocrites.

For years, the poor red Sox always spoke out about how the New York Yankees went about their business. You know, how they always went out and attempted to put forth the team with the best chance at winning a World Series. How the Yankees wanted to give their fans a great team to stand behind and cheer on to the pennant.

Red Sox fans hated Yankees fans for what they said that they stood for, which was obnoxious people who only knew about the Yankees and very little else. Red Sox fans hated the fact that Yankees fans never had to suffer the same heartache as Red Sox fans. Their ignorant owner actually came out and once called the New York Yankees organization “The Evil Empire.”

But who is the true Evil Empire now?

The Red Sox are an absolute mess. The team is in shambles and the organization and its’ fans have all become what they once said they hated, making them the epitome of hypocrites. If they truly hated the Yankees for what they feel that they stand for, then they ought to be completely appalled by what they themselves have become.

Red Sox fans are the biggest hypocrites in the world. They hate how much the Yankees spend? They are now third.

The Red Sox have become the true Public Enemy No. 1.

They hate how the Yankees get involved in bidding wars to drive the price up, whether or not they get the player desired. How is Carl Crawford and John Lackey working out for you so far?

Boston fans hated how New York fans travel and represent so well and drown out the home teams’ fans. No fans on the road are more obnoxious than Red Sox fans.

The Red Sox always said that it was all about chemistry, which is something that the Yankees know nothing about. While I am not about to say that certain players on the Yankees are the best example of team unity and chemistry, they are clearly ten times better than what went on in the Red Sox clubhouse this past season.

Fans of the Red Sox said that when the Yankees didn’t win it all, they had to make excuses about what went wrong. Has any group of players been less accountable and responsible than the Red Sox as of late? First, it was the injuries. Then it was the pitching and hitting coaches. Then it was the manager. Then it was the general manager. Finally it was some of the players. What is next? The batboy? The bathroom attendant? I mean, seriously, Red Sox fans. Who else can you blame for a miserable season next? Your team flat out choked bigger than any team in Major League baseball history. Suck it up and move and go back to uttering your former favorite phrase of all-time…

You know, the one you used to fight with Chicago Cubs fans over as far as who had the rightful claim to use it the most.

“Wait ’til next year.”

You can wait until next year to compete again, but you should be deemed the new Public Enemy No. 1 immediately, replacing the Yankees as the most hated team in America.
