The Miami Marlins have a brand new stadium, brand new uniforms and the roster has undergone a multi-million dollar makeover. Various aspects of the new stadium which the Marlins will call home, including a giant fish tank behind homeplate are unique to the stadium. Now, another feature of the stadium has been revealed, their home run machine.

Various stadiums all celebrate home runs in different fashion and this contraption that the Miami Marlins have rolled out is, well, unique. Looking like something out of a carnival, the large multi-colored tropical looking device is most definitely unique.

From the video, it’s hard to determine exactly just how large this device is but it is composed of several moving parts. Ocean waves, seagulls, leaping marlins and pink flamingos adorn the celebratory machine.

Miami is a very unique area and this is a direct reflection of that philosophy. This will be one of the most unique stadiums in the league, possibly in all professional sports combined.
